THE BEST BANK FOR CORPORATE BUSINESS

In a world where everything is accelerating and constantly changing due to the energy transition, technological innovation and the recent Covid-19 crisis , BNP Paribas continues to adapt and offer innovative solutions that have a positive impact on the economy and customers.

THE ADVANTAGE OF THE INTEGRATED AND DIVERSIFIED BNP PARIBAS BUSINESS MODEL

The bank's integrated and diversified business model, as well as flexibility in customer service around the world provide a strategic and financial advantage to the bank. During the health crisis, this allowed the Group to mobilize € 250 billion to serve European economies, while supporting our customers in their transformation and environmental transition.

Experts appreciate the experience and practices of customer service by the BNP Paribas Group - a European leader and leading international banking participant, a transversal approach to business lines: corporate and institutional banking, domestic markets and international financial services. For example, in the EMEA region last year, BNP & nbap; Paribas coordinated more than € 46 billion in DCM (Debt Capital Market) operations. Thus, the bank mobilized its capital market teams to coordinate numerous operations during the Covid-19 crisis, acting as a "bridge" between corporate clients and institutional investors. BNP Paribas has been a key player in implementing support measures for companies of all sizes in this unprecedented period.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IS A PRIORITY FOR BNP PARIBAS DEVELOPMENT

The Group continued to intensify its efforts in several areas in order to integrate sustainable development into its products and operational processes, implement significant measures and assist clients in sustainable development. BNP Paribas has implemented an active industry policy, taken financial measures to promote sustainable financing and supported clients in integrating sustainable development through innovative financing solutions. Sustainability loans or positive impact loans are part of this support. BNP Paribas took first place in terms of coordination of ESG-related loans in the EMEA region in 2019.

BNP PARIBAS IS THE WORLD'S BEST FINANCIAL INCLUSION BANK

For the first time, BNP Paribas received an award for its strategy and achievements in the field of financial inclusion, which provides access to financial and banking services to all, including vulnerable people.

"Thanks to its unique model of direct lending to microfinance institutions and the involvement of large investors, BNP Paribas has put financial inclusion at the heart of its plans ," says Euromoney.

Combating social inequality has been at the heart of the Group's CSR strategy since its definition in 2012. However, BNP Paribas started inclusive financing even earlier. In particular, with the launch of Projet Banlieues in France in 2005 by the BNP Paribas Foundation, as well as the first financing of a microcredit institution more than 30 years ago.

During this time, inclusive funding is:

900 million euros in loans

84 financial institutions

33 countries

2 million customers

AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO FINANCIAL INCLUSION ACROSS THE GROUP

BNP Paribas supports vulnerable and isolated groups. Many BNP Paribas divisions offer products and services specifically designed for vulnerable customers.
