National Bank of Ukraine issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.

The National Bank of Ukraine has made a decision to agree on the terms and conditions of activity in Ukraine of the international payment system Clear Junction. The corresponding decision was made on January 13, 2020 by the Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banks' Activities, Supervision (Overnight) of the National Bank's Payment Systems. The Clear Junction international payment system is a Clear Junction Limited company, registered in the UK, with the status of an authorized electronic money institution. The Clear Junction International Payment System has become the thirteenth internationally registered non-resident payment system in Ukraine. The launch of the new payment system on the Ukrainian market will promote the development of the payment market in Ukraine, improve the quality of financial services, as well as expand the opportunities for receiving money transfer services for both overseas Ukrainians and foreigners making cross-border transfers of funds in Ukraine.
