Government of Uzbekistan issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.

In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.168 of November 26, 2019, a regional seminar-training on reforms in the field of public procurement was held for senior public procurement officials and specialists in monitoring public procurement in the treasury system.

The training workshop provided detailed information on the current state of public procurement and ongoing reforms. Issues related to public procurement and proposals for improving the sector were also discussed during the seminar.
