Eurasian Development Bank issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
On the sidelines of the annual meetings of the governing bodies of the IMF and the World Bank Group, the delegation of the Project Unit of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, managed by the Eurasian Development Bank, held an extended bilateral meeting with the World Bank team led by Mariam Sherman, Director for Strategies and Operations for Europe and Central Asia ( Mariam Sherman ( Director of Strategy and Operations , Europe and Central Asia ).
The parties discussed the status and prospects of the investment portfolios of the two institutions, exchanged views on economic prospects and reforms in the EFSD member countries.
The World Bank remains one of the key partners of the EFSD both in the field of financing for development and the promotion of macroeconomic and financial stabilization. Institutions will continue their close dialogue to ensure the effective planning, implementation and evaluation of their projects and the support of Member States.
