ANELIK BANK - ARMENIA: IDBank Participates in Banking Union of Armenia "Financial Literacy and Skills" Program

Anelik Bank - Armenia issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.

Within the framework of the Financial Literacy and Skills Program of the Union of Banks of Armenia, IDBank held an interactive lecture on "Payment Cards, Their Applicability" in the English Park.

Hrachya Papikyan, Head of Digital Banking Division and Tatevik Hovhannisyan, Head of Marketing, presented to students the types of payment cards, the feasibility of their use in this or that case, the market development trends in the world and in Armenia.

The speakers answered the questions of the students.

Then a draw was held; The winner received a special IDBank prize, and all lecturers received souvenirs.

According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Bank's Communication Department, the Bank attaches great importance to education, which is one of the key areas of IDBank's corporate social responsibility; “Finance, in general, is the area to go from - from personal budget planning to banking - in the modern world, each of us, whether we want it or not, is involved in this area at some point in our lives. It may seem like it is every person's business - they will know what they are doing or not, they will be able to plan a loan or deposit plan correctly, but they will not. IDBank is interested in having a knowledgeable client who gives correct, useful questions and gets comprehensive answers. In this context, IDBank, with its specialists, resources, is ready to assist in any way to increase the financial literacy of the population. "

Recall IDBank awarded 5 students with 1 Million AMD scholarship to continue their Master's Degree program, already in the second stage of the program "Build Career with IDBank", which gives graduates the opportunity to take a two-month course at the Bank then become an employee of the Bank. The bank has also joined the World Vision Armenia charity School Road Initiative, which aims to provide children in needy families with school uniforms and essentials.
