ROSBANK - RUSSIA: Rosbank will keep zero service fee for money transfers via Faster Payments System

RosBank - Russia issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.

Rosbank made a decision to keep a zero service fee for money transfers via Faster Payments System (SPB) until November 1, 2019. Therefore, until the beginning of November, all the money transfers via SPB to other banks-participants of the System will remain free of charge for Rosbank customers.

“From the moment of the launch of SPB, Rosbank customers carried out and received transfers for the total sum of more than 1 billion rubles. The number and amount of transfers via the SPB keep on growing. In July the volume of transfers increased by 20% in comparison with June, the growth rate of transfers in August also shows an ascending trend. Due to the fact that the service is so popular among our customers, we made a decision not to impose a service fee for the use until the beginning of November”, Damien Leclercq, Director of Retail Products and Marketing Department of Rosbank.

You can use SPB via the mobile app Rosbank Online and Internet Bank. The operator of FPS is the Bank of Russia, the operational payment clearing center is National Payment Card System.
