RosBank - Russia issued the following announcement on June 13.

Expert RA rating agency affirmed the credit capacity rating of Rosbank on ruAAA level with a stable forecast.

The credit rating of Rosbank stems from strong market positions, a relatively high asset quality, a strong capitalization, an acceptable level of profitability, an adequate position on liquidity and the high quality of corporate management.

The agency took into account a high probability of of rendering a financial aid to Rosbank in case of necessity from the side of mother company as well as the administrative support from the government due to the systematic significance of Rosbank in Russian bank system.

According to Expert RA analysts, Rosbank has a strong brand and a franchise, a good business reputation and a wide geography of activities. Moreover, it has a big customer base in the segments of lending and cash management of large business and the people. The bank occupies leading positions almost in all the segments of bank market, including factoring portfolio and trade finance, banker guarantee market and transborder transactions.

The agency notices a strong system of internal control and audit, a high degree of information transparency of Rosbank, the quality of corporate management, the organization of business processes and a risk management.
