Belarusbank said Friday it received an award for international banking cooperation development from the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE).
The bank said the award is a reflection of its reputation within the regional and international banking communities. The award was presented in a ceremony April 13 in Budapest, Hungary, during BACEE's annual Jubilee Conference.
BACEE was formulated in 1996. It focuses on the developments in economic and banking sectors for its member institutions. BACEE currently has 33 member banks representing 18 countries in the region.
BACEE partakes in the assessment and evaluation of risks in the area for member banks. This information allows member banks to make informed choices on investments and business partnerships.
BACEE and its associated banks are particularly interested in trade finance, small- and medium-size enterprise development and treasury credit lines. The group also offers consultation for bank management to improve their international reputation and public image.
