Yulia Myronenko appointed as NBU's new chief of procurement

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) appointed Yulia Myronenko as its chief of the procurement department on Tuesday. 


Myronenko holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Kyiv Institute of Civil Engineering and a master's in business administration from the International Management Institute. Her specialty is the development of automated control systems. 


Prior to her appointment to the NBU, Myronenko had served in a procurement role since 1999 at Kyivstar GSM. She has also worked with Global Lodzhystik as the deputy director of commercial affairs and as the deputy head of procurement at JSC Swedbank. Most recently, she served as the director of administration of general services at Pravex-Bank.


"Transparency procurement, especially public authorities, is important for Ukrainian society at the present stage of the reform of economic and political processes in the country," Myronenko said. "I have a great desire to direct their knowledge and experience to build high-quality and modern procurement procedures, based on the principles of transparency, ethics interaction and equal opportunities for all participants in the procurement process."
