Gazprombank received a rating of an "A-", which indicates strong performance and a stable outlook, during a recent conference for Chinese investors at the Russian Embassy in Beijing.

Dagong Global Credit Rating Co. Ltd. awarded the rating during the event that also marked the 25th anniversary of the bank.

The conference focused on cooperation between China and Russia in general and specifically with Gazprombank. Discussions were also held regarding the macroeconomic situation in Russia and the government's plan to improve the situation.

"The economic relations between Russia and China are developing especially actively today," Deputy Chairman of the Gazprombank Management board Oleg Vaksman said. "Strengthening our mutual cooperation and widening participation of Gazprombank in investment projects in our countries is one of our strategic priorities."

Future conferences will be held in countries that Gazprombank operates in, including Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, India, Luxembourg, Mongolia, South Africa, Switzerland and China.
