Bank of Saint Petersburg Board Chairman Vladislav Guz was named Financier of the Year in the financial technologies category at award ceremonies held Friday in Moscow.
The awards were hosted and selected by the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Guild of Financial Managers and the Professional Union of Managerial and Financial Specialists.
Special attention was paid to nominees that helped the Russian Federation during the current economic trouble. The nominees' efforts to perform in difficult economic times were considered in the decision process.
This award recognizes financiers that have performed exceptionally well over the previous year and who strengthened the credibility of financial managers in leading companies in Russia.
Representatives from the State Duma, ministries and departments and hosting bodies made the final award decisions with the aid of third-party experts and analysts.
