Vozrozhdenie Bank (VB) announced Friday that Igor Antonov has been appointed chairman of the bank's management board.
"Igor Antonov will contribute to the realization of the targets set by the shareholders with his fresh expertise and vision for the existing management structure," Chairman of VB's Board of Directors Otar Margania said. "The bank’s strategy remains intact, as well as the position of the key shareholders on its future development.”
VB also announced Alexander Dolgopolov has been named the bank's CEO after former CEO and chairman Dmitry Orlov's death in December. Until Antonov is approved by the Russian Central Bank, Dolgopolov will oversee the management board.
"Over the years, a team of outstanding professionals has been built under the leadership of Dmitry Orlov," Dolgopolov said. "I’m honored to have worked with him for over 20 years. Now, a new time has come and it requires new solutions. I would like to give thanks to my colleagues for many years of cooperation and wish success for continued business development to the new management team.”
