The First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) said on Tuesday that it has launched a new service that allows money transfers from any Ukrainian bank card.
The Card to Card program allows money transfers to be performed in an instant without the need to visit an FUIB branch. As long as participants have the card number of the recipient, funds can be transferred electronically within minutes, the bank said.
The service charges a fee of 1 percent of the transferred amount, plus another 32 cents. This doesn't include fees and other charges applied by the issuing bank on transfers via credit card.
The service accepts any card issued by a bank in Ukraine. The system also allows clients to repay debts on credit cards that the user also owns. The service is available around the clock daily and can be accessed at the FUIB website's homepage.
