Ian Bradshaw has been confirmed as the new managing director of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the U.S. - Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce  said Friday.

Bradshaw's appointment is set to begin in February.

Bradshaw has served as the senior vice president of BG Group in Australia, where he was successful in obtaining investors to the Queensland Curtis liquefied natural gas project. Bradshaw has also served in various senior level executive capacities.

Bradshaw made his 34-year career in the global oil and natural gas industries. He has 15 years of project management experience with Shell in their U.K., Netherlands, Norway and Malaysia offices.

In 2008, Bradshaw completed a senior executive program at Columbia University in 2008. He serves as a fellow of the institute of directors.
