Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit the city of Atyrau in Western Kazakhstan on Sept. 30 to attend a forum for interregional cooperation.
The topic of the forum is Innovations in Hydrocarbon Sphere and attendees will include heads of the Kazakhstan’s key ministries and agencies, leaders from Russia and business representatives.
The presidents will hold separate talks on Russia-Kazakhstan relations and Eurasian Economuc Union cooperation before the plenary session of the forum.
A signing of joint documents is expected, including agreements on cooperation between the countries.
Kazakhstan and Russia hold annual meetings, with last years meeting taking place in the fourth largest city in Russia, Yekaterinburg.
