An investment forum between Belarus and the U.S was held on Monday in New York to discuss Belarusian trade and economic standing with the United States.
“We have enough strong points to boost the work with American companies and banks," Belarus Premier Mikhail Myasnikovih said. "We need to be bolder in coming to these financial markets. There is still an untapped potential here and we will be talking about it.”
The forum was held as a series of discussions coordinated into three blocks. Topics covered included Belarus’ investment climate, national investment projects and opportunities for cooperation in priority sectors. Discussions on science and technology, the advantages of cooperation with Belarus given the Single Economic Space and the development of the Eurasian Economic Union also took place.
