The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will hold a May 13 conference to focus on private sector development for infrastructure.

This one-day event, which will take place just before the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum 2015, is a partnership with the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee and the Turkish presidency of the G20. It aims to bring together professionals from the infrastructure development and construction industry and investors in similar projects.

the event will have four segments. The first will be from the perspective of the public sector. The second is an overview of what bank and government officials have learned in pursuing public-private partnerships, where they have been effective, and what could be improved. The third and fourth segments will focus on building sustainable infrastructure that will facilitate growth and how institutional investors can be brought in.

The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Tbilisi Parliament Building.
