The capital city of Azerbaijan was included this week in a “Forbes” magazine list among the top-10 rated former USSR cities in terms of how well they do business with Russians.
The magazine determined the rankings based on such factors as population, taxes and the simplicity of their visa regime, among other factors, News.az reports.
Minsk was the highest-ranked city on the list of 20. The top 10 included the cities of Tallinn, Estonia; Vilnius, Lithuania; Almaty, Kazakhstan; Astana, Kazakhstan; Riga, Latvia; Kiev, Ukraine; Yerevan, Armenia; Tbilisi, Georgia; and Baku, Azerbaijan.
Other cities included in the list were Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; Kharkov, Odessa, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovs’k,Ukraine; Chisinau, Moldova; Dushanbe, Tajikistan; Tashkent, Uzbekistan; Ashgabat, Turkmenistan; and Moscow, according to News.az.
