Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited the Meridan Expo Center on Sunday to see the Made in Armenia exhibit showcasing products made in the country.

Many of the products and companies participating in the exhibit had received state support.

The exhibit was organized by the Ministry of Economics and the Armenian Development Fund. Approximately 330 companies representing a wide array of sectors and industries, such as wood processing, food, alcohol, tourism and metallurgy, were present.

Abrahamyan spoke with representatives on the status of projects.

Abrahamyan also addressed bottleneck issues and provided suggestions to alleviate them. Special interest has been placed in companies that export into the global market, he said.

Abrahamyan spoke with reporters and said his administration would continue to support exporting companies and enterprises and those that produce goods.

The three-day exhibit supported and showcased domestic production and industry.
