Bank of Georgia issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

Traditional horse racing "Baccharo Cup 2018" was held to promote the popularization of the resort Bakhmaro, the Bank of Georgia, the leading bank of the country.

The aim of the event was to promote the cultural specifications of Bakhmaro and promote the development of the resort. Horse riders from different regions of Georgia participated in the traditional dog. Before the start of the dog, a solemn ceremony was held. The winners were awarded with cash prizes and memorable gifts after the end of the tournament.

"Baccharo Cup 2018" was organized by "Bakhmaro" and "Nabeghlavi" company JSC "Water Useful".

In the 30s of the last century, Bakhmaro has been founded on the occasion of the day of each transfiguration, with more than 50 horsemen coming from Samegrelo, Adjara, Guria and other regions. This event was aimed at preserving and promoting this tradition.
