The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan trained its officials and staff to be able to effectively speak in public and address media outlets, officials announced Friday.
The training covered the different ways that media outlets might conduct interviews and how communication through the mass media can be perceived by an audience.
Leading the training was journalist Oleg Dmitriev from Russia Today. Over the course of the event, participants experienced interviews in several formats using different technology. An aspect that was stressed in the training was how officials should act in the course of an interview and how they can effectively explain complicated topics to a wide variety of audiences.
For the final activity, bank officials were given a chance to complete mock interviews with a television crew.
