Gazprombank said Monday that several of the bank's personnel were named among the top currency dealers in Russia during 2014 by the Moscow International Currency Association (MICA).
This comes from the results of a survey of interbank market and foreign exchange market analysts and specialists over the course of 2014.
Vasily Ushakov, executive director of the Department of Treasury Operations for the bank, was nominated "Best Currency Dealer" of 2014. Oxana Shevchenko, director of the Directorate for Relations with Financial Institutions and Companies for the bank, was ranked sixth for "Best Financial Institution Manager" in interbank relations.
Final award winners and nominees will be officially honored at the Dealer of the Year ceremony in April.
Employees receiving recognition is a continuing pattern for the bank, which recently reported growth in assets of 4.5 percent at the nine-month mark in 2014.
