For the third consecutive year, Moldovan bank Victoriabank has been named among southeastern Europe's largest financial institutions in SeeNews SEE Top 100 Banks 2014, the bank said in a release on Tuesday.
The rankings are based on financial reports over the previous year. Victoriabank was ranked No. 89 with 688.2 million euros in assets, a full 15.07 percent more than its assets at the end of 2012.
"Any presence on the charts or appreciation from international institutions is important for VictoriaBank in particular, but also for the banking sector in general," BC Victoriabank President Natalia Politov-Cangas said. "This proves that we are a strong banking institution with a correct strategy and an efficient activity. We owe our success (to) customers for which we work and we bring products and services to solve financial issues."
Reports from the first part of this year also show the bank has a healthy confidence rating from its clientele.
