TACCI meetings promote collaboration, trade

The Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) met with representatives from a variety of organizations in August to discuss collaboration and trade.

On Aug. 28, Secretary General Mark Meirowitz and Basak Guner, executive director of the chamber, visited with Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Secretary General Franco De Angelis and marketing coordinator Allison Errante to discuss developing trade relations between Italy and the U.S.

Ali Koçak, president of TACCI, and board member Mehmet Firat Polat met with Raushan Yesbulatova, the consul general of Kazakhstan in New York, and Yerlan Kubashev, the consul of Kazakhstan in New York, to discuss increasing bilateral business and investment opportunities between Kazakhstan and the U.S.

On Aug. 29, Koçak visited with Yasar Halit Cevik, the permanent representative of the Republic of Turkey to the United Nations, to emphasize the importance of investment and commercial relations between Turkey and the U.S. Cevik said he is willing to support efforts toward bilateral business relationships.
