National Bank of Ukraine appoints new director of personal development

Roman Borysenko was recently named the new director of personal department of the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to a news release from CISTran Finance, Borysenko, who obtained a banking degree from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking, will be responsible for "upgrading all processes and reshaping the organizational structure of the regulator in a consistent manner." He is taking over the job previously held by Ihor Ivaniuk, who wil be retiring.

In the news release, Borysenko said he will devote maximum efforts to assist the bank's management team in implementing transformation initiatives.

"Optimization of the central bank's organizational structure, avoidance of duplication of functions, the upgrading of the employees' skills and the transition to electronic workflow system will help enhance the operational efficiency of the central bank," he said in the release.

Prior to joining the National Bank of Ukraine, Borysenko was employed at Bank Aval for more than a decade. He advanced from an economist to deputy director and head of the human resources division.
