Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Latvian Ambassador Elita Gavele on Thursday.

Abrahamyan highlighted the need to further develop bilateral relations, according to the official government website.

"There is great potential for the development of relations between our two countries," Abrahamyan said. "In this respect, we appreciate the activities of the intergovernmental commission."
