Unibank opening new branch in Yerevan

Armenia's Unibank is opening a new branch in Acharyan, part of the Avan administrative district, and will start its operations at the end of January.

The new branch will offer individuals and legal entities a full spectrum of banking services, including deposits, loans, bank cards, money transfers and communal payments.

Established in October 2001, the bank has 45 branches in Armenia and a representative office in Moscow with approximately 1,000 employees.

Unibank participates in the National Center for Assistance to Small and Medium Enterprise Development, the IFAD program for supporting the implementation of investments in rural areas, and ABN AMRO International's risk management program.

It also joined the Armenian Chamber of Commerce this month.

Unibank was recognized as Armenia's "Best Dealing Bank 2012" by Thomson Reuters and is included in the list of Armenia's 100 biggest taxpayers.
