Promsvyazbank (PSB) appointed Eugene Kozerenko to be the head of the bank's corporate block, they announced on Friday. 

Prior to this appointment he served as a deputy chairman for Sberbank Russia. In this position, he also oversaw corporate accounts and business practices. He holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Economics at the North Caucasus Technical University.

"Many years of successful experience [at] Sberbank allowed him to earn a reputation as a highly effective manager," PSB's First Deputy Chairman Vladimir Yashin said. "I am confident that the professionalism of Eugene will boost the efficiency of the corporate unit and further strengthen the position of PSB."

Major challenges that Kozerenko will face include the development of service models in order to engage with more corporate clients, while keeping current ones, and helping the bank reach high levels of national and international success within major areas of finance, transactional business and factoring.
