Bellesbumprom reaches agreement to deliver new Belarus furniture to Armenia

Bellesbumprom, a woodworking and paper production concern, and the Armenian-Belarusian Trading House Ar-Be announced Friday that they have reached an agreement to supply new furniture models to Armenian consumers.

In their most recent discussion, both sides began to finalize delivery and sales operations at the trading house, according to Bellesbumprom spokesperson Ruzhena Noviskaya. It was agreed that the trading house will set aside 1,200 square meters for furniture display.

“Apart from the sale of furniture, the participants of the talks discussed other cooperation avenues,” Novitskaya said. "In particular, new products, namely isolating fiberboards produced at the Mozyr wood-processing plant as part of the investment project, were shown to the representatives of the Ar-Be trading house. The Armenian side was interested in these products."

Representing the trading house was Director General Zhevik Mkrtchyan. According to the report, both entities launched the sale of furniture in 2010. Since then, Belarus companies have delivered $500,000 worth of furniture to the facility.
