The Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry said this week that the nation's agricultural industry would be represented at the 21st WorldFood Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition, set to take place May 21-23.

Azerbaijan said at the beginning of 2015 that this is the nation's "Year of Agriculture," a collection of government-sponsored measures to boost the nation's agriculture industry and production.

Several agencies and organizations from Belarus will be represented in three presentation areas, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the National Academy of Sciences and many others.

The chamber said this will allow Belarus' agricultural sector to build business relations and contacts in the international market to help spread its products worldwide.

The exhibition has been held since 1995 in Azerbaijan and is one of the world's largest agricultural conferences.

The chamber said Belarus also will be represented at the Ninth Caspian Agro Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition.
