Alfa-Bank announces lowered interest rates on cash loans

Cash loans from Alfa-Bank will have interest rates lowered, the bank announced on Wednesday.

The bank states that interest rates will be 23.99 percent per year and 21.49 percent for regular banking customers. These loans are limited to a maximum of approximately $33,000 for up to three years.

It was reported in February that the bank has offered special incentives for clients of the former Sudostroitelgogo Bank after the financial institution had its banking license revoked. This included free legal advice and advertising opportunities. Over the course of 2014 the bank showed a strong standing in multiple areas.

The bank was founded in 1990, and it provides a full range of banking services. They state that assets amounted to approximately $49.8 billion for the first portion of 2014, boasting a clientele roster of approximately 128,000 corporate entities and approximately 10.8 million individuals in Moscow and other regions throughout the Russian Federation.
