In a Monday meeting, Armenian officials discussed developmental prospects with construction industry representatives.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan welcomed industry leaders and officials. According to the report, an exchange between authorities and construction representatives created an open dialogue of developmental possibilities. Abrahamyan said it is the government's goal to identify problems that could hinder cooperation and performance. 

The prime minister instructed officials to design a framework to facilitate investment programs with input from representative companies and entities to be submitted for consideration. Abrahamyan stressed the importance of implementing and encouraging governmental investment programs into the industry, and said cooperation between companies, developers and authorities would be crucial in facilitating growth in the sector and overall economy.

Abrahamyan said meetings like this are beneficial to lawmakers wanting to make informed policy decisions.
