The Armenian branch of VTB Bank announced Friday that it has been recognized as a leader in brand awareness.
VTB placed first among other banks and financial institutions in a survey conducted by the Marketing and Public Opinion Research Institute that questioned 1,200 individuals on awareness and spontaneous knowledge of different brands.
In addition to its increased results in brand awareness over previous years, VTB was identified by many respondents as one of the country's more trustworthy banks.
Based in Russia, VTB group has branches and subsidiaries in many Commonwealth of Independent States member countries including Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. It also is present in Europe with Austrian, German and French branches.
VTB was also the first bank in Armenia to join BEST, a money-transfer system that allows clients to transfer funds in multiple currencies.
