The Georgian branch of VTB Bank has launched its new online banking system, VTB said Tuesday.
The web portal will provide customers with a multitude of banking services.
The system, IVTB, gives clients access to account information, including balances, at all hours. It also allows correspondence between the bank and clients so that most services can be completed without having to enter one of the branch's locations.
Through the system, clients can make money transfers and pay utility bills, as well as access all information relating to their deposits and loans. It also allows users to add services to their account and complete applications for credit cards with the bank.
Clients can sign up at Georgian branch locations or over the phone. They will receive their log-in credentials during the set-up process. Signing up for this service is free of charge. VTB Group is based in Russia and has branches operating in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Austria.
