Myatlikov meets with FEMOZA president

Mikhail Myatlikov, chairman of the Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recently met with World Federation of Free and Special Economic Zones (FEMOZA) President Juan Torrents to discuss the Congress of Free Economic Zones of Northern and Eastern Europe.

The congress, which will take place March 19-20, will likely cover the topic of globalization of business and the attraction of international investors.

One of the goals of the conference is to facilitate and distribute information so that participants can find partnerships with international investors and share their experiences.  

FEMOZA aims to support developing and transition economies so that they are able to grow and attract investment from global sources. The federation has developed rules and regulation for economic zones. It also provides assistance with technical, legal and training aspects of economic development. The organization was founded in Geneva in 1999.
