The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) said Thursday that in the first 10 months of 2014, its customer base increased significantly.
The bank reported growth in its client pool of over 58,000 people so far in 2014, with 350 businesses joining its roster of clients, bringing the total client list to over 14,000 business and other legal entities and over 920,000 private individuals.
This increase in customers has had a positive impact on the bank. In October, the bank reported growth in assets, as well as growth in other areas as well, including loan portfolios of both businesses and private clients. It also saw increased earnings and net profits this year, with capital increasing 27.6 percent.
The IBA has gained recognition in response to this growth, having been named as the top bank in the country by Media Consulting & Services in November.
