The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has appointed Oleh Kurinnyi to be the new director of the Corporate Non-State Pension Fund on Wednesday.
NBU Governor Valeriia Gontareva said Kurinnyi's biggest challenge will be to multiply members' savings in the fund.
"Oleh Kurinnyi proved himself a highly qualified and accomplished expert in the stock market and direct investments market," Gontareva said. "It is my firm belief that this respected professional with such skills, expertise and knowledge should take charge of our pension fund, especially in the face of its investment policy modification."
Kurinnyi has a master's degree in financial markets from the Ukrainian Stock Market Institute and has a successful career in investments and securities under his belt. His experience includes working with institutions such as Interregional Fund Union OJSC and Dragon Capital, LLC, in leadership roles. Before accepting his new position, he served as director of Dragon Development, LLC.
