BTA Bank shareholders will discuss and vote on a variety of measures during a general meeting in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Nov. 3.
The measures include amendments and supplements to rules on fixing remuneration, determining which member of the bank's board of directors to take charge of remuneration, the appointment of an auditor and changes to the Tabulation Commission.
Shareholders whose shares are also held by a nominee will not be permitted to vote without the information being available in the central depositary accounting system. All representatives of shareholders must provide a notarized power of attorney and proper identification in line with Kazakhstan law.
The meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 3 in the second floor conference hall at 97 Zholdasbekov St.
If there is a failure to produce a quorum, the meeting will be moved to Nov. 4, at the same time and place.
