Two vehicles developed and manufactured by the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT) were showcased at the IDEX 2015 expo this week in Abu Dhabi, Belarusian officials said.

The large military transports are part of the company's MZKT 6001 line of tractors and other heavy-duty vehicles. The two that have been on display all week were the 600201 model, with an 8x8 wheel set-up that features all-wheel drive, and the 600100, with a 6x6 wheel set-up.

Both vehicles can handle multiple road conditions, the company said.

The plant began operations in 1954 and was incorporated in 2010, specializing in the development and production of large-scale automobiles that can carry heavy loads. It is one of the only companies within the Commonwealth of Independent States to produce components such as suspension systems that are hydropneumatic and spring-based, with automatic gearboxes.
