A delegation from the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), led by President Ihsan Delikanli, visited Azerbaijan this week to discuss investment priorities going into 2015.

Delikanli met with Samir Sharifov, minister of finance and BSTDB governor for the country; and Elman Rustamov, chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

During the discussion, the bank's delegation was informed of macroeconomic developments and improvements made to the growth of the country's economy. It was noted that Azerbaijan has seen significant growth over the past 10 years. Delikanli praised the progress that the country has made economically.

The two parties explored possible business opportunities and sectors of the budding economy to tap into to facilitate continued growth overall.

The bank's delegation also met with Mammad Musayev, chairman of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs; and Ruffat Mammadov, president of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation.
